On January 3rd, TikTok food reviewer Keith Lee shared a video with his millions of followers that impacted the fate of Frankensons, a restaurant in Las Vegas known for its pizza and chicken wings. The video detailed a positive encounter Lee had with the owner, Frank Steele, at the restaurant.

What did the Tik Tok Influencer told in his video

Lee said, "I received an email in the afternoon from an employee of a family-owned restaurant here in Vegas, He explained that the employee requested him to come and try out the restaurant as the business wasn't doing well despite the food being delicious."

In the video, the employee shared with Lee about the slow sales at the restaurant and how it's unable to pay the rent, because of poor marketing. 

Some Influencers asked for high payments to review their restaurant

The employee also mention that, though they would like a food reviewer to come and evaluate the food, the only offer they received from an influencer required a payment of $2,600.

In the video, Lee stated "I didn't charge anything for this and I paid for my own food. This taste test is to determine if it's truly the marketing or if the food is not good."

Lee recounts a personal story while providing an honest review of the wings, pizza, and garlic knots he purchased at Frankensons, which totaled $86.73, told in his video.

Lee praises the owner of Frankensons, Frank Steele, for his exceptional service and kind nature during their conversation about the business. He mentions that Frank's consideration and patience added another dimension to the experience.

Lee also notes that Frank was unaware of his large TikTok following and influence in the food industry at that time. He also highlights that a recent positive review of a Chipotle hack he made on TikTok went viral and was added to the national chain's menu.

Lee stated, "This is one of the best wings I've ever had, this is a 10," after trying a lemon pepper chicken wing.

Steele mentioned that his 4-month-old restaurant business was not going well and he was fortunate if he made $400 per day. However, according to him, after only a few hours of Lee's visit, the situation changed for the better.

Steele expresses his emotions and said "Our phone hasn't stopped ringing since then. I've sold more lemon pepper wings in the last two days than I have in the past four months. I made more garlic knots yesterday and the day before than I ever have before,"

Steele said "It's been overwhelming, it's been a blessing. This restaurant has been a dream of mine for 30 years."

Steele explained in the video that Lee's TikTok review has attracted customers from many states including Iowa, California, Utah, and more to Frankensons restaurant. 

A post on Frankensons Facebook page show comments from people from various parts of the country expressing their desire to visit the restaurant when they are next in Las Vegas. Some even mentioned they are planning a trip specifically to visit the restaurant.

However, due to the sudden increase in business, Frankensons also posted a TikTok on January 4th apologizing for the long wait times.
